Ep 8. Laying in the Weeds

Joe Krutel is trying to convince Spencer to get back into the business of sports representation, and he's even found a potential new client in Vernon Littlefield. But Spencer is hesitant to dive back in, especially after his recent experiences with Andre. Still, Joe tries his best to convince Spencer that this is a good move for both of them.

In the midst of all this chaos, Spencer is still grappling with his own personal demons. He's still dealing with the aftermath of his brother's suicide, and he's starting to have dreams about his own death. Things come to a head when Chloe Day invites Spencer to a party at her house, and both Andre and Anderson Financial will be there. Spencer decides to attend, but after a contentious conversation with Andre, he starts to feel like he's in over his head. He leaves the party early, but on his way out, he sees something that leaves him shaken.

Overall, Laying in the Weeds is a tense and dramatic episode of Ballers that explores the dark side of the sports industry.
