Beetlejuice season 1 episode 9 titled "Worm Welcome" follows the story of two humans named Lydia and Charles. When Lydia and Charles decide to go for an afternoon hike in the desert, they stumble upon a strange looking tree. Little do they know, the tree is actually a one-eyed monster that could swallow them whole!

As Lydia and Charles try to run away, they bump into Beetlejuice, who's also in the vicinity, and ask for his help. Beetlejuice agrees, but he has an ulterior motive - he wants to capture the one-eyed monster and sell it to the circus. He convinces Lydia and Charles to help him, and together they come up with a plan to trap the monster.

After successfully capturing the monster, Beetlejuice is ecstatic about the possibility of becoming rich from the sale. However, when the monster reveals that it's actually a friendly worm who's been living inside the tree, Beetlejuice has a change of heart and decides to set it free instead.

Lydia and Charles learn the valuable lesson that you can't always judge a book by its cover, and that sometimes things aren't always what they seem. The episode ends with Lydia and Charles saying their goodbyes to Beetlejuice as they head back home, grateful for his help in their adventure.

"Worm Welcome" is a lighthearted episode of Beetlejuice that teaches viewers the importance of empathy and not judging others based on their appearance. The humorous antics of Beetlejuice add to the overall enjoyment of the episode, making it a fun and entertaining watch for both kids and adults alike.
