Big Top Academy is a Canadian live-action series that aired on Discovery Kids in 2018. The show follows a group of aspiring circus performers as they attend a prestigious circus school called the Big Top Academy. The main characters include two best friends, Max (Drew Davis) and Ace (Cameron Andres), and a new student named April (Ava Ro).

The students of Big Top Academy are a diverse group of young performers with unique talents and personalities. Max is a talented acrobat who dreams of performing the Triple Flip, a dangerous stunt that has never been attempted before. Ace is a skilled juggler who struggles to keep up with Max's high energy and competitive spirit. April, the new student, is a contortionist with a passion for aerial silks.

The Big Top Academy is run by a strict but caring teacher named Ms. Martel (Judy Marshak). Ms. Martel is a former circus performer who teaches her students everything from acrobatics and juggling to clowning and trapeze. She pushes her students to reach their full potential and encourages them to support one another as a team.

Throughout the show, the characters face challenges both in and out of the circus ring. Max's obsession with the Triple Flip puts him in danger, and he must learn to balance his ambition with safety. Ace struggles with jealousy and competition, but eventually learns to support his friend and become a better performer. April faces difficulty adjusting to a new school and making friends, but finds her place within the Big Top Academy community.

Big Top Academy also features a variety of unique circus acts and stunts, which are performed by the young cast members themselves. From aerial silks to trampoline tricks, each episode showcases the skills of the talented young performers.

In addition to the main characters, Big Top Academy also features a cast of supporting characters who add to the show's charm and humor. These include a mischievous clown named Silly (Samuel Beaulieu), a food-loving acrobat named Gracie (Samantha Duff), and a wild-haired trampoline artist named Duke (Drew Tanner).

Overall, Big Top Academy is an entertaining and inspiring series that celebrates the excitement and creativity of the circus world. With a talented young cast, engaging storylines, and impressive circus acts, it is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
