Boomers Full Episode Guide

  • Maureen's mother stuns everyone by announcing that she is going to marry a man 20 years her junior. The couples gather at the hotel for the ceremony and scrutinize Joan's groom.

  • John celebrates his birthday by attending a murder mystery evening with the couples all in fancy dress. However, a real-life mystery emerges- is it Maureen or her character, Lady Greystoke, who is having an affair?

  • Mick returns from Spain without his young Russian wife and soon causes chaos at the fete arranged by Carol. Meanwhile, John looks to spice up his and Maureen's relationship.

  • The couples attend the naming ceremony of Alan and Joyce's first granddaughter. John and Maureen are keen to get to know two well-connected party guests but they are more interested in Carol's erotic novel idea.

  • New neighbors invite the couples to a housewarming party. Alan spots one of Joyce's old bedside tables in their house and thinks they have stolen it, so he hatches a plan to steal it back.

  • Trevor and Carol organize a camping trip for the group but are also rekindling the fire in their relationship. Sadly, the rest of the group isn€™t as enthusiastic. The boys get into trouble while on a bike ride.

  • The three couples are returning from the Christmas markets in Cologne, but incorrect tickets, a looming strike, and rude novelty Santas all spell disaster for the trip home.

  • The three couples take their usual summer holiday at the Hollingers hotel's 6os weekend. Maureen loves it, unlike Joyce, but things get worse when it appears that Alan only booked two rooms so the men are separated from the women.

  • Maureen and John move Joan from sheltered accommodation to a care home. Maureen's brassy sister Pauline arrives to 'help' but scares the men-folk with her predatory nature.

  • Joyce is retiring and Alan is throwing a party for her at home. Homesick for London, Maureen invites new residents Sara and Dan who have moved from the capital with their children, but the party turns out to be quite a hassle.

  • The resort celebrates its history on Thurnemouth Day with Trevor dressing as Lord Nelson to cut a ribbon. Maureen takes him to get his costume, offering- unwanted-marital advice.

  • Joyce organizes a fortieth wedding anniversary party for Carol and Trevor, inviting John and Maureen and Maureen's bibulous, wheelchair-bound mother Joan. Before setting out to the restaurant Carol confesses to Maureen and Joyce that she finds Trevor boring and plans to leave him.

  • Norfolk seaside resort Thurnemouth is home to three retired couples, bossy Joyce and her easy-going husband Alan, ultra-conservative John and sensible Maureen and nervous Carol, who, with boring Trevor, is rebuilding the marriage after a separation.
