Ep 2. The Alanon Case

In the second episode of Bored to Death's first season, entitled "The Alanon Case," the main character, Jonathan (played by Jason Schwartzman), finds himself in a precarious situation when he asks for help from his friend and comic book artist, Ray (Zach Galifianakis).

Jonathan, a struggling writer who moonlights as an unlicensed private detective, is hired by a woman from the Alanon support group to investigate her alcoholic husband's infidelity. We also see George's creative process as he tries to come up with a new idea for the magazine cover, with the help of some marijuana-laced brownies.
