In Botswana, Richard has the opportunity to connect with a local tribe and experience their traditional "throat singing." This unique style of singing is a form of music that requires performers to communicate through a series of deep, guttural and melodic sounds. Richard takes part in a singing circle and learns how this musical tradition evolved and evolved with the local tribes.
In the final leg of Richard's journey, he makes his way to Cuba, where he discovers the lively rhythms of salsa and Afro-Cuban music. Richard gets a chance to dance and play percussion instruments with some of Cuba's most talented musicians.
