Eric Hollywood is the nineteenth episode of the fifth season of the popular television show, Boy Meets World. The show originally aired on March 28, 1998, on ABC network in the United States.

The episode begins with Eric meeting with his acting agent, Jason, concerning a part in a movie called Flames of Love - a romantic drama. Eric is happy with the news and takes Mr. Feeny, his former high school teacher, to go and see the movie set. While on the set, Eric becomes friendly with an actress named Alexis (played by Keri Russell). They hit it off well and Eric understands that she is pretty famous.

Eric manages to get a part in Alexis' new movie, The Savage Frontier, which was directed by Jean-Claude Van Damme himself and is scheduled for shooting in two weeks. However, Eric is taken aback by Alexis’ lack of respect for her fellow actors, referring to them as “extras." Eric is also disappointed with the part he's assigned to play in the movie and decides to write his script to change his role.

During a break on set, Eric bumps into Mr. Feeny, and they have a conversation about Eric's situation, reminding him that it takes more than being a great actor to be successful in Hollywood. Meanwhile, Cory, who has been watching a lot of movies lately, discovers that a movie he was excited about has been excluded from theaters.

Eric is faced with a dilemma when he receives his rewritten script and knows that the changes he's made could be viewed as disrespectful to the other actors and the director. However, when he informs Jean-Claude Van Damme of the conflict, he is impressed with Eric's bold vision and gives him the freedom to direct the movie himself.

As Eric starts directing, he gets carried away with his newfound power and turns into a tyrannical director. Between takes, he angrily summons people and shouts orders around the set, including humiliating his brother, Cory, who shows up with other high school classmates. Eric doesn't care about his actions and only sees the positives while ignoring the negatives. Eventually, things start to unravel when he gives himself the lead part, and Alexis is cut out of the film.

Eric's transformation and subsequent fall from grace teach valuable life lessons about power, humility, and being true to oneself. Ultimately, the episode climaxes with Eric recognizing and admitting his mistakes and correcting them, restoring relationships and balance to the set.

Overall, the episode Eric Hollywood is an entertaining and captivating episode of Boy Meets World that teaches important life lessons about the dangers of power, the importance of humility, and the value of being true to oneself. It's an excellent episode that showcases the character development of Eric and Mr. Feeny in particular. It's an episode that will leave viewers with laughter, tears, and valuable life lessons.
