Building Invincible

"Building Invincible" (2014) is a documentary series about designing buildings to withstand natural disasters. For example, the Marlins Park stadium in Miami is built to be able to survive hurricanes, while the Bay Bridge in San Francisco was built with huge shock absorbers that allow it to withstand even a severe earthquake. The show describes the latest technology used in such endeavors, be they materials or techniques.
