Ep 7. The River

As Ben continues on his journey to find his father, he comes across a river that he must cross. Meanwhile, Jonesy and Sofie arrive at the carnival and meet with Samson, who is worried about the encroaching danger of the approaching storm. The two become unwittingly involved in a game played by the people of the carnival, as they try to figure out who is the "mark" and who is the "grifter".

Back at the river, Ben encounters a group of people who are also trying to cross. He helps them by using his healing powers to cure a sick child. However, things take a turn when one of the group members accuses Ben of being a devil and tries to kill him. After a harrowing experience, Ben finally makes it across the river and continues his journey.

Back at the carnival, tensions are rising as the storm approaches. The game played by the carnival people becomes more intense, as they begin to involve dangerous weapons. When the storm hits, chaos ensues as people run for shelter and the game turns deadly. Jonesy and Sofie find themselves caught in the middle, trying to survive the storm and the dangerous game.

As the episode comes to a close, Ben finally arrives at the location of his father's trailer. However, things are not as he expected them to be and he is left with even more questions than answers. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see what happens next.
