Ep 2. Antwane & Tony

Antwane and Tony were excited to meet each other in person after talking online for over two years. They had built a strong online relationship, often spending hours on the phone and sharing intimate details about their lives. However, Antwane had never seen Tony's face, and Tony refused to video chat.

Nev and Max received an email from Antwane's cousin, Carmen, who was concerned about his online relationship with Tony. She had tried to intervene in the past but was unsuccessful in getting Antwane to see the red flags. Carmen feared that Tony was not who he claimed to be and that Antwane was in danger.

Nev and Max decided to investigate and soon discovered that the phone number Tony had been using was fake. They traced the number to a woman named Tiana, who had no clue about the situation but agreed to help. Tiana owned the phone, but someone else was using it to catfish Antwane.

Using Tiana's phone, Nev and Max were able to text Tony, who agreed to meet Antwane in person. The boys planned to meet at a local park, but when they arrived, Tony was nowhere to be found. Instead, they found a note from Tony, asking Antwane to meet him at a nearby hotel.

Antwane was hesitant to go to the hotel, but Nev and Max convinced him to come along. When they arrived, they found Tony in the room, and he finally revealed his true identity. However, Tony was not the person Antwane thought he was.

Tony was actually a man named Justin, who lived in the same town as Antwane. Justin had used a fake persona to catfish Antwane, but he never realized how deep their relationship had grown.

Nev and Max talked to Justin to understand his motives for catfishing Antwane. It turned out that Justin had been struggling with his sexuality and didn't know how to come out to his family and friends. He created a fake persona to explore his sexuality but never intended to deceive or hurt Antwane.

After a heart-to-heart conversation, Antwane forgave Justin, and the two men embraced. Justin finally came out to Antwane, ending the deception and allowing him to start living his life authentically.

The episode ended with Antwane and Justin staying friends and doing their best to move forward from the deception, while Nev and Max continue on to help others in similar situations.
