Chasing Monsters is a thrilling reality show that follows extreme fisherman Cyril Chauquet as he travels around the world seeking out the biggest and most dangerous aquatic creatures. Cyril notes that this species was also introduced to the Everglades, this time from South America, but has become a popular game fish due to its beauty and challenging nature.
As Cyril sets out on his quest, he faces a number of challenges, including navigating through the thick marshes and avoiding alligators and other dangerous wildlife. He also faces the difficulty of catching these elusive creatures, which require a great deal of skill and patience to lure in and hook.
