Ep 5. The Last Supper

Set in Tower Hamlets, East London, Chewing Gum is a comedy series that revolves around the life of a 24-year-old naive and religious girl, Tracey Gordon, who is determined to lose her virginity and explore the world beyond the council estate where she has grown up. At Connor's flat, Tracey and Connor begin to talk, and Tracey opens up about her fears and insecurities. Connor is kind and understanding, and he reassures her that there is nothing wrong with being a late bloomer. As the night goes on, Tracey and Connor grow closer, and she begins to feel more relaxed and comfortable in his company.

However, just as things are starting to heat up between Tracey and Connor, she receives a call from Joy, who is in distress and needs her help. Tracey rushes back to the house, where she finds Joy in tears. Joy begs Tracey not to let her father go and tells her that Ronald is the only man she has ever loved.

Despite her own feelings of anger and betrayal towards Ronald, Tracey decides to help her mother. She devises a plan to disrupt Ronald's engagement party and stop him from leaving. Candice and her friends join in, and together, they crash the party and cause chaos. In the end, Ronald and Joy reconcile, and Joy is finally able to let go of her anger and hurt.

As the episode comes to a close, Tracey reflects on her own struggles to find love and intimacy. She realizes that the journey to self-discovery is not always easy, but it is necessary for personal growth and happiness. The Last Supper is a poignant and humorous episode that explores the complexities of relationships and the challenges of growing up.
