Hangin' With Mr. Cooper was a family sitcom that aired from 1992 to 1997 on ABC television. This show was about a fictional former NBA player, Mark Cooper, who went on to become a substitute teacher and basketball coach. Mark is a very "chill" guy with a sort of quirky personality. Also on the show were Mark's 2 friends, Robin and Vanessa. Robin and Vanessa needed an extra roommate to help pay the rent. Mark moved in with them to help pay the rent. The whole premise of the show focuses on the fact that Mark is a substitute teacher and basketball coach. Often times Mark would be able to help the students through a tough time, or the students would teach Mark a thing or two. Living with two women was another thing that often caused some interesting moments on the show. There always seemed to be some sort of lesson that Mark learned on each episode. The show was very popular and had a great 5-season run. It started out on Tuesday nights and then went to the Friday night 'TGIF' lineup. The final season it aired on Saturday nights.
