He becomes emotionally involved with a patient who reminds him of his mother, which causes complications in his professional life.
Elsewhere, Dr. Ethan Willis, a doctor with a military background, treats a veteran who is suffering from PTSD. He works to help the veteran confront his traumas while also keeping him stable and alive.
As the day progresses, the team continues to face various obstacles and unexpected challenges. They must rely on their training and expertise to save the lives of their patients while also navigating their own personal struggles.
