Back in the programming lab, Dave and Jerry have made significant progress on their new game. They show it off to the executives, who are impressed with the graphics and gameplay. However, they want more added to make it competitive with Atari's version.

Dave and Jerry then decide to add elements to their game that Atari doesn't have. They add things like a phone that E.T. can use to call home, a bicycle, and other gameplay elements. The executives are pleased with the new additions and give the game the green light for production.

However, things take a turn for the worse when the group learns that Atari's E.T. game has been a massive failure and is now considered the worst video game of all time. The executives at GameAvision quickly change their minds and decide that they don't want to take any risks and cancel E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: The Game.
