Tony arrives at work with scratches on his face from Maria. Carla's determined to do something about it and reports Maria to the police for assault. Ken arrives back from Portsmouth without Peter. Worried Ken explains to Leanne and Blanche that Peter's in rehab. Leanne's really concerned for Peter. Gail and Anna row in the street much to Eileen's amusement. Sophie and Sian discuss the captain of the swimming team who they both fancy. Rosie takes the mickey. Maria reports Tony to the police for the murder of Jed Stone. To Maria's shock, they don't take her seriously and warn her if she continues to harass Tony she'll be in serious trouble. Eddie's dumbstruck when Kirk tells him he's arranged for them to join another darts team instead. Anna's quietly amused. Gary and Len congratulate each other on the success of their copper piping scam. As Maria drives home she sees Tony crossing the road. All her hate for Tony bubbles to the surface and she drives the car straight at him. At the last minute she swerves, just clipping Tony and crashing the car in to the factory steps.
