In Cutthroat Kitchen season 8 episode 2, titled "Grill or be Grilled," four chefs face off in a fiery grilling competition. The stakes are high as the contestants bid against each other to sabotage each other's stations and gain an advantage in the competition.
Host Alton Brown is back to his mischievous ways, introducing some impossible challenges that leave the chefs scrambling. In the first round, the chefs must create a delicious appetizer featuring a mystery beef cut, while incorporating an ingredients wheel that determines which additional ingredients they must use. But the sabotage begins right away as one chef is forced to cook on a mini-grill, while another loses their knives and must resort to using kitchen scissors.
In the second round, the chefs must create a main course featuring grilled seafood. But the challenges get even more intense, as one chef is forced to wear a giant foam finger that restricts their movement while cooking, and another must cook with a garden hose instead of a traditional grill. The sabotages are relentless, but the chefs must adapt quickly to make sure their dishes are cooked to perfection.
In the final round, the remaining two chefs must create a decadent dessert using grilled fruit as their star ingredient. But in true Cutthroat Kitchen fashion, the final round is ruthless with sabotage options that include swapping out the chef's grill for a small campfire and forcing them to use a whirly-pop popcorn machine to cook their dessert. The chefs must stay focused and calm under pressure if they want to come out on top.
As always, the competition is fierce and the contestants are on edge as they compete for a cash prize. Will the sabotages prove too much to handle for some of the chefs, or will one rise above the rest to claim victory? Tune in to Cutthroat Kitchen season 8 episode 2, "Grill or be Grilled," to find out.
