Ep 10. Progeny

Meanwhile, Snart (Captain Cold) and Rory (Heat Wave) sneak off to steal a valuable emerald, but they end up getting in trouble with the locals.

As they carry out their mission, the Legends soon realize that stopping Per Degaton from becoming a tyrant may not be as simple as they initially thought. They witness firsthand the harsh and oppressive conditions of the society under Vandal Savage's rule and the lengths people are willing to go to survive. In addition, they find it difficult to reconcile their actions in the past with those that will have consequences in the future.

The tension and uncertainty surrounding their mission come to a head when Ray discovers that the bomb the Carter Resistance has built is far more powerful than any he had intended to create. He warns them against using it, as it could not only blow up Savage's facility but also a large portion of the surrounding area, causing countless deaths. This decision leads to a heated debate among the Legends and the Carter Resistance about whether to go ahead with their plan, and if so, whether the end justifies the means.

Ultimately, the episode concludes with the team facing an impossible choice: to save the future, they must sacrifice the present. The emotional and intense moments in the episode build to a captivating climax that leaves viewers wondering what the outcome will be not only for the Legends but for the fate of the world they are trying to save.
