Ep 6. Falling Down

As the tenth season of Deadliest Catch continues, episode six titled "Falling Down" brings viewers back into the tumultuous world of crab fishing in the Bering Sea. The episode begins with the captains and crews of the various boats working tirelessly to bring in their quotas before the season ends.

Amidst the chaos, tensions run high as the captains struggle to make the right decisions to keep their crews safe and successful. On the Time Bandit, Captain Jonathan Hillstrand faces a difficult choice when his hydraulic system fails, threatening the safety of his crew and causing them to fall behind on their quota. Meanwhile, on the Northwestern, Captain Sig Hansen is determined to push his crew to bring in as much crab as possible, even in the midst of a brutal storm.

As the episode progresses, viewers are given a glimpse into the daily challenges faced by the crews of the various boats. From the physical demands of pulling in massive crab pots to the constant threat of injury or death, it is clear that this is a job for only the strongest and most resilient individuals.

Along the way, viewers are also introduced to the newest member of the Northwestern crew, Mike Fourtner. As a greenhorn, Mike must prove himself to the rest of the crew, enduring grueling work and harsh conditions in order to earn their respect.

Throughout the episode, tensions continue to mount as crew members struggle with exhaustion, injury, and the constant pressure to bring in more crab. Nonetheless, the fierce determination and camaraderie of the crews keep them going, even when the odds seem insurmountable.

As the episode draws to a close, viewers are left on the edge of their seats as the crews face some of their biggest challenges yet. With time running out and the weather worsening, will they be able to overcome these obstacles and come out on top? Only time will tell.
