Ep 5. Double Agent

In Deadliest Catch season 16 episode 5, titled "Double Agent," the captains and crews continue to battle treacherous weather and dangerous conditions on the Bering Sea in search of crab. As the mid-season mark approaches, tensions are running high and tempers are flaring.

Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard decides to bring on a new deckhand, but it quickly becomes clear that the newcomer is not what he seems. As Keith struggles to get his crew to trust the new guy, he must also navigate rough seas and unpredictable fishing grounds.

Meanwhile, on board the Time Bandit, Captain Johnathan Hillstrand is dealing with engine trouble and a deckhand who isn't pulling his weight. With the clock ticking and the crab pots still empty, tensions are high and mistakes could be deadly.

On the Cornelia Marie, Captain Josh Harris is feeling the pressure of his first season as captain. He's determined to prove himself to his late father, Phil Harris, and to his crew. But when a mistake threatens to cost them valuable time and money, Josh must decide whether to stick to his plan or try something new.

Over on the Northwestern, Captain Sig Hansen is wrestling with a dilemma of his own. As his crew struggles to haul in a record-breaking amount of crab, Sig is forced to make a difficult decision that could affect the rest of the season.

As always, the crews of the crab boats must work together to overcome the dangerous conditions and bring in their haul. But with tensions and stakes at an all-time high, one wrong move could mean the difference between life and death. Will they be able to push through the challenges and come out on top?
