Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie battles with his crewmembers' lack of focus as they continue their quest to catch as many king crabs as possible in the treacherous Bering Sea. Meanwhile, on the Northwestern, Captain Sig Hansen's crew struggles to replace a broken crane, but tensions rise as a lack of progress puts them behind schedule.

Over on the Time Bandit, Captain Andy Hillstrand pushes his crew to their limits in an attempt to catch up with the rest of the fleet. But disaster strikes when a routine fuel transfer goes terrifyingly wrong, threatening to derail their season before it even begins.
