Takuma Sakamoto, once a top-ranked player in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Cross Reverie, finds himself transported into the game itself after assuming the persona of a powerful demon lord. In this new fantastical world, Takuma now goes by the name Diablo and finds himself trying to navigate the political landscape of the realm and protect his newfound allies.
