In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 1 episode 9, titled "Temari Demon and Arrow Demon," our protagonist Tanjiro continues his journey to find a cure for his sister's demon curse.
As he travels through a forest, he encounters a man named Sabito who challenges him to a fight. Sabito is from the same training program as Tanjiro and had died during the final selection. This encounter leads Tanjiro to realize that he must work harder if he wants to attain the strength required to fight demons. He continues his journey and comes across two new demons named Temari and Arrow.
Temari is a demon who attacks with a ball of thread that is infused with her poisonous blood. The thread can be dangerous, as it can wrap around its victim and stop them from moving, leaving them helpless for Temari to devour. Tanjiro encounters Temari and the two engage in a fierce battle. It becomes evident that Tanjiro is intelligent and is able to quickly analyze his opponent's moves and motives, giving him an advantage in the fight.
Meanwhile, Zenitsu, who is left behind to guard the sleeping Nezuko, starts to have doubts about his bravery. He only sleeps to avoid encountering any demons but is faced with the realization that he might not be able to protect Nezuko if a demon attacks.
As Tanjiro continues his fight with Temari, he suddenly is attacked by Arrow, who uses his arrows to attack from a distance. He is unable to get a clear shot at Tanjiro as he is extremely agile and is constantly moving. Tanjiro quickly realizes that Arrow's weakness is in his breathing techniques, and he is able to exploit this weak point to defeat him.
Overall, episode 9 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba introduces new characters and demons and further demonstrates Tanjiro's intelligence in battle. It also showcases Zenitsu's insecurities about his bravery and emphasizes the importance of focusing on breathing techniques in battle. This episode is action-packed, thrilling, and leaves viewers eagerly waiting for the next one.
