The fight is violent and intense, with Akira and Miki barely escaping with their lives. Ryo arrives on the scene and explains that demons have been possessing humans all over the world, and that they are growing more powerful with each passing day. He believes that the only way to stop them is for Akira to become a devilman and fight them on their own terms.

"I Need You" is an excellent introduction to the world of Devilman Crybaby. It sets up the central conflict – demons vs. devilmen – and introduces the major players: Akira, Miki, and Ryo. The first episode is brutal and intense, with graphic violence and disturbing imagery. However, it also has moments of humor and heart, particularly in the scenes between Akira and Ryo.
