Digimon Adventure 02 Season 1 Episode 7 Hikari's Memory

As the sixth Tai’s teammates head off to visit their homes for a brief stay, the seventh Hikari opts to stay in the city with Tai. They decide to visit their old apartment from four years ago, where they used to live. While Tai is excited to be back, Hikari is more on-edge as she begins to experience strange flashbacks to when they were living there.

At the apartment, they reminisce about old times, discussing the Digimon battles they had there and what life was like before the events of the past few years. However, Hikari’s memories begin to intensify, and she becomes increasingly agitated. Eventually, she recalls a mysterious creature she saw in her apartment four years ago, and as they search the place, Hikari finds a strange keychain.

Their trip to the apartment proves to be more frightening than intended when a strange being appears. This creature is not like any Digimon they have ever seen before. It communicates with Hikari telepathically, telling her that it has been waiting for her. Meanwhile, Tai tries to fend off the beast with the help of their Digimon partners, but it proves to be too strong.

As the creature continues to attack, Hikari becomes increasingly afraid. She begins to realize that she has seen this creature before in her dreams, which is why it feels so familiar. Tai attempts to protect Hikari, but the creature proves to be too much for him and the other Digimon to handle. With no other options left, they are forced to flee the apartment altogether.

Back at the Kido residence, Hikari falls ill and the others question if it was was due to the encounter with the mysterious creature. They discuss what they do know about it, and Hikari reveals that the creature is called Dagomon. She also admits that she has memories of being with Dagomon for an extended period, and he wants her to be with him again.

As the team looks to protect Hikari, they also worry about dealing with the mysterious Dagomon. They soon realize that they need to combine the strength of all the Digimon partners to try and defeat this unusually strong and determined creature. So, they brainstorm a plan to gather all of the Digimon together, strengthen their powers by combining them, and then attack Dagomon with everything they’ve got.

Their plan succeeds, and the group is able to defeat Dagomon. At the end of the episode, Hikari begins to regain her memories of her past with Dagomon and hopefully the answers needed to understand what is going on.
