Watch Doctor Who: Kinda

This is a four part story arc of the long running and exceedinly popular Dr. Who television program. The Kinda arc takes place in the third serial of the show, with Peter Davison as the titular Doctor, Richard Todd as Sanders and Mary Morris as Panna. The plot for the arc takes place in upon the vast and forest filled planet of Deva Loka, a planet that is currently being colonized by the remaining population of Earth in the distant future (the doctor is a time traveler for those unfamiliar with the series). The doctor and his friends brave the terrors of the jungle in their struggle to reach the colony only to be arrested upon their arrival by it's maniacal leader, Hindle.

The Doctor observes that the Kinda have a sense of humor, but Hindle is unamused. In their cell the Doctor and Todd have a shared psychic experience in which they receive a summons from Panna and Karuna. The dome's power flickers out and the door to their cell opens.

The Doctor and Todd are locked in a cell, while Adric manages to persuade Hindle he's on his side. Hindle declares a state of war between the base and the Kinda, and prepares a campaign to wipe them out.
