Ep 12. The Creature from the Pit (4)

The Doctor and Romana arrive on the planet Chloris, where they discover a world ruled by a dictator known as Lady Adrasta. The planet is also home to an enormous pit, which legend says holds a creature that is worshipped as a god. When the Doctor and Romana investigate the pit, they find themselves captured by Adrasta's men and thrown into a prison cell. There, they meet a group of rebels who are plotting to overthrow Adrasta and her regime.

As the rebels work to free the Doctor and Romana, the duo discovers the truth about the creature in the pit. It turns out that the creature is actually a giant alien spaceship, which has crashed on Chloris and been buried in the ground. In the end, the Doctor is successful in convincing the spaceship's computer to stop controlling the creature. The creature comes to a stop, and everyone on Chloris is able to live in peace once again. Adrasta is overthrown and the rare metal is distributed among the people of the planet, ensuring a more fair and just society. As the TARDIS takes off, the Doctor and Romana reflect on their adventure and what they have learned about bravery, sacrifice, and the power of intelligence.
