The Doctor and his companion Melanie find themselves on a 1950s Earth holiday camp run by the alien race known as the Bannermen. They soon discover that a refugee from the planet Chimeron named Delta has also arrived on Earth, seeking sanctuary from the Bannermen who have massacred her people. The Doctor and Mel must work to protect Delta and her unborn child from the Bannermen who are determined to hunt her down. Along the way, they encounter a ragtag group of tourists and hippies who join forces with them to thwart the Bannermen's plans and save Delta and her baby. As they race against time to save Delta, the Doctor and Mel uncover a sinister plot by the Bannermen that threatens not only Delta's life, but the fate of the entire galaxy.
