Ep 14. Blake Goes to Jail

Blake Goes to Jail is the fourteenth episode of the first season of the popular American television series, Dynasty. This episode follows the continuation of the previous episode, Enter Alexis. The episode is directed by Michael A. Allowitz, and written by Christopher Fife and Paula Sabbaga.

The episode opens with Blake Carrington (Grant Show) being arrested and taken away by the police. The Carringtons are stunned, especially Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) who is still reeling from the unexpected arrival of her mother, Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan). In jail, Blake meets with his lawyer who warns him about the seriousness of the charges against him. Anders (Alan Dale) arrives and offers to help Blake in any way he can. Blake, being very untrusting, declines his offer but soon realizes he might need his help.

Back at the mansion, Fallon becomes increasingly frustrated with Alexis's presence. She confronts her mother, who reveals that she has found evidence that Blake had a hand in her son, Adam's (Sam Underwood) disappearance. Alexis promises to use the evidence to help Blake but Fallon is skeptical.

Meanwhile, Jeff Colby (Sam Adegoke) continues to work on his plan to take down Blake. He approaches Fallon and asks her to help him by giving him access to the Carrington files. Fallon is hesitant but eventually agrees when Jeff tells her that it will benefit both of them.

Cristal, on the other hand, tries to make peace with Matthew's mother, who blames Cristal for Matthew's death. Cristal is unable to convince her and this encounter triggers Cristal's guilt further.

Back in jail, Blake receives another visit, this time from Fallon. Fallon confronts her father, demanding to know what he did to Adam. Blake denies any involvement and Fallon becomes even more agitated.

The episode ends with Sammy Jo running away from the mansion, leaving a note for Steven saying that she doesn't want to be fought over anymore. Meanwhile, Jeff makes a discovery in the Carrington files that might be enough to bring Blake down.
