In the twelfth episode of season 2 of Dynasty, titled "Blake's Blindness," we see the aftermath of the horrific accident that occurred at the end of the previous episode. Blake Carrington, the patriarch of the Carrington family, has been left blind as a result of the explosion, and he is struggling to come to terms with his new reality.
The episode opens with Blake in the hospital, bandaged and bruised from the explosion. He is surrounded by his family members, including his wife Cristal, his daughter Fallon, and his son Steven. Blake is in denial about his blindness, insisting that it is only temporary and that he will regain his sight.
Meanwhile, Adam, Blake's conniving son, is up to his usual tricks. He has been plotting to take over the family business for some time, and now sees an opportunity to strike while Blake is vulnerable. Using Blake's blindness to his advantage, Adam convinces Blake to make him the temporary CEO of Carrington Atlantic, much to the chagrin of the rest of the family.
As Blake struggles to adjust to his new life without sight, Fallon takes it upon herself to try and help him. She brings in a therapist who specializes in helping blind people adapt to their new circumstances, but Blake is resistant to her methods.
Elsewhere, Cristal is dealing with her own turmoil. She feels guilty for her part in the explosion, as she was the one who hired the workers who caused the accident. She confides in her friend and personal assistant, Sam, who offers her some much-needed support.
As the episode progresses, we see various members of the Carrington family dealing with their own personal issues. Steven is struggling to come to terms with his sexuality and his feelings for his boyfriend, while Fallon is still reeling from her recent breakup with Liam.
The tension between Adam and the rest of the family continues to mount, as he makes some questionable decisions in his new role as CEO. We see him scheming behind the scenes, trying to cement his position by any means necessary.
Overall, "Blake's Blindness" is a tense and dramatic episode that explores the fallout from the explosion and its impact on the Carrington family. With plenty of plot twists and turns, it's a must-watch for fans of the show.
