Elemental Gelade Season 1 Episode 10 The Lustful and Greedy Battle Arena of Miriald-Trey

The episode begins with our heroes, Coud and Ren, arriving at a town called Miriald-Trey, which is infamous for its battle arena. The town is teeming with various groups of people, all eager to participate in the upcoming tournament. Ren is excited to see the arena, but Coud is hesitant, knowing that such events usually involve fighting and violence.

As they explore the town, they run into a girl named Viro, who claims to be a fan of Coud's fighting skills. She invites them both to participate in the tournament, but Coud declines, wanting no part in the violence. However, Ren is intrigued and decides to enter the tournament herself, much to Coud's dismay.

Meanwhile, we learn that the tournament is being hosted by a man named Lilia, who is known for his cruelty and greed. He has set up this tournament to attract the best fighters from all over the country, with the promise of a grand prize- a rare elemental gelade called "The Heart of Phoenix". This gelade is said to be imbued with a great power, which can grant immortality to its wielder.

As the tournament begins, Ren quickly proves herself to be a skilled fighter, easily defeating her first opponent. However, she soon realizes that many of the fighters are not there by choice- they have been forced to participate by Lilia and his henchmen. Many of these fighters are injured and malnourished, and Ren experiences a deep sense of guilt for participating in this event.

Meanwhile, Coud runs into Viro again, who reveals that she is actually a member of a group of rebels who are trying to take down Lilia and his corrupt regime. She urges Coud to help them, but he is still hesitant, not wanting to risk his and Ren's safety.

As the tournament progresses, Ren faces tougher opponents, all of whom are much larger and stronger than her. However, she refuses to give up, determined to win the grand prize and use the Heart of Phoenix to end the tournament once and for all.

Towards the end of the episode, the final battle takes place between Ren and the reigning champion, a giant brute named Gouan. The fight is brutal and intense, with Ren barely managing to dodge Gouan's attacks. However, with the help of her friends and her determination to end the cruelty of the tournament, Ren manages to come out on top and win the grand prize.

The episode ends with the rebels storming into the arena, revealing Lilia's corrupt actions and freeing the captive fighters. Coud and Ren decide to join the rebels, wanting to help bring justice to this town and put an end to the cruel tournament once and for all.
