Ep 6. The Sister

In "The Sister," the sixth episode of the fourth season of Everybody Loves Raymond, the audience is introduced to Robert's sister Amy, who comes to visit from out of town. Amy is very different from Robert, as she is a successful career woman who has always been very confident and self-assured. However, her visit begins to cause tension in the Barone household when Ray starts to develop a crush on her.

Initially, Amy seems to fit in well with the Barone family, even though they all acknowledge that she is quite different from Robert. She and Debra hit it off right away, and Ray initially enjoys having her around. However, as the episode progresses, Ray begins to develop feelings for Amy, which causes tension between him and Debra. Despite her initial confusion about what's going on, Debra quickly realizes what's happening and confronts Ray about his behavior.

As the episode continues, tensions between Ray and Debra grow, with Debra becoming increasingly frustrated by Ray's behavior. At the same time, Robert begins to feel left out of things, as he feels like the family is more interested in Amy than in him. Ultimately, the situation reaches a breaking point, with Ray and Debra having a major argument and Robert feeling hurt and left out.

Despite the drama, the episode ends on a positive note, with the family ultimately coming together to resolve their issues. Amy leaves town, but not before Robert gets a chance to bond with her and realize that they aren't as different as he thought. In the end, the episode serves as a reminder that even though families can be difficult and complicated, they ultimately come together when it counts.
