Ep 15. Good Cop, Bad Cop

After successfully capturing a shoplifter, Carl is approached by a group of kids who ask if he can be their mentor. Feeling flattered by the request, Carl agrees and starts accompanying the kids to their after-school program, where he learns about the positive changes the program has made in their lives.

At the same time, Laura and Eddie are assigned a project for their civics class to demonstrate how the justice system works. While Eddie decides to go the traditional route and create a poster board presentation, Laura thinks outside the box and proposes they stage a trial.

With Eddie as the defense and Laura as the prosecutor, they choose Steve as the suspect and ask their family and friends to act as witnesses. However, things quickly escalate when Laura becomes too invested in the trial and starts bullying Steve, causing tensions to rise among the family.

Meanwhile, Carl's newfound role as a mentor takes a turn when he realizes one of the kids he's been working with is actually involved in a gang. Faced with a difficult decision, Carl must decide whether to continue to try and help this young boy or turn him over to the police.

Throughout the episode, the Winslow family grapples with issues of justice, morality, and how to make a difference in their community. With a mix of humor and heartwarming moments, "Good Cop, Bad Cop" highlights the importance of staying true to one's values and standing up for what is right, even when it's difficult.
