The sixth season of the popular 90s sitcom 'Family Matters' continues with episode 16 titled 'Wedding Bell Blues'. The show follows the lives of the Winslow family, their neighbors, and friends in the lively suburbs of Chicago. In this episode, the family is getting ready for one of the biggest celebrations of the year when a wedding announcement shakes things up.

The episode begins with Eddie (played by Darius McCrary) getting ready to attend a wedding reception with his girlfriend. As he struggles to pick the right clothes, his younger sister Laura (played by Kellie Shanygne Williams) makes fun of him for stressing over his outfit. Meanwhile, Carl (played by Reginald VelJohnson) and his wife Harriette (played by Jo Marie Payton) are trying to come up with a plan to take part in the wedding festivities while not neglecting their family responsibilities.

As Eddie and Laura are leaving for the reception, they bump into a familiar face: Greta (played by Tammy Townsend), Eddie's ex-girlfriend. It becomes obvious that Eddie still has feelings for her, which leads to an awkward moment between the two. Meanwhile, at the reception, Carl and Harriette run into their old friend Fletcher (played by Michael D. Roberts), who informs them that his son is getting married. This news brings back a lot of memories for the couple.

Back at the house, Rachel (played by Telma Hopkins) is getting ready for a romantic weekend with her husband. However, she gets stressed out when she finds out that her daughter Judy (played by Jaimee Foxworth) has invited her friends over to throw a party. Rachel asks her to cancel the party, but things don't go as planned. Meanwhile, Steve Urkel (played by Jaleel White) arrives at the Winslow house, dressed up in a tuxedo and carrying a gift. He is ready to show his affection for Laura, but he is in for a big surprise.

The episode takes a dramatic turn when Eddie makes a confession to Greta, revealing that he still loves her. Greta, who is also single, admits that she still has feelings for Eddie as well. However, before they can act on their emotions, Laura arrives, putting a halt to their conversation. Laura is shocked to see Greta, Eddie's ex-girlfriend, at the wedding reception, and it leads to a heated confrontation between the two. Things escalate quickly, and Laura storms off, leaving Eddie and Greta alone.

A series of events unfold, and Carl and Harriette decide to renew their wedding vows, inspired by the young couple getting married. But their plans hit a snag when the minister they have hired fails to show up, and they are forced to find a solution quickly. Meanwhile, Rachel's romantic weekend getaway is sabotaged by Judy's party, leaving her irritated and angry.

As the day comes to an end, Eddie arrives at Laura's doorstep, ready to explain the situation. He confesses his feelings for Greta and admits that he is confused. Laura, who has always been there for her brother, listens to him and advises him to take some time to think about his feelings. The episode ends with the Winslow family gathered together, celebrating Carl and Harriette's vow renewal ceremony.

'Wedding Bell Blues' is a heartwarming episode that explores the ups and downs of family relationships. It touches on themes of love, romance, and commitment, while also showcasing the importance of family support. The episode is well-written, with great performances by the cast, and is an excellent addition to the 'Family Matters' series.
