Ep 11. Incarnation

  • June 13, 2015

In the eleventh episode of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works season 2, titled "Incarnation," the fight for the Holy Grail intensifies as Archer and Shirou face off in a dramatic battle.

As the episode opens, Archer and Shirou are already engaged in a fierce battle. The two are evenly matched, with both of them using their agility, strength, and powers to outmaneuver the other. However, Shirou is fighting with all his might, determined to prove that he's not the naive boy Archer thinks he is.

During the fight, Archer unleashes a massive blast of magic that Shirou is barely able to dodge. He lands on the ground, panting and barely conscious, while Archer triumphantly declares that he can now destroy him. But Shirou refuses to give up, and as he stands back up, he declares that he will show Archer the true power of his ideals.

With those words, Shirou's left arm glows brightly as he calls forth a projection of a sword. This new weapon is different from the ones he's used before - it's larger, more detailed, and looks more powerful. Archer is shocked, as he recognizes the sword as one of his own that he used in his life as a Heroic Spirit.

The two swords clash, and a fierce battle ensues. Shirou's sword is powered by his ideals, which give it incredible strength and flexibility. Archer's sword, on the other hand, is powered by his experience and skill, and he uses it to launch a series of devastating attacks.

Despite this, Shirou is not intimidated. He refuses to back down, and he even manages to surprise Archer with his power and speed. However, just as it seems like Shirou might be able to win, Archer unleashes his most powerful attack yet - the Unlimited Blade Works.

This is the ability that gives the show its name, and it's something that Archer has been building up to for a long time. Essentially, it allows him to create an infinite number of swords out of thin air, which he can then use to attack his opponent from every angle.

Shirou is completely overwhelmed by this attack, and it seems like he's about to be defeated. However, he refuses to give up, and he begins to call forth the power of his own ideal - that no one should have to suffer or die needlessly. This new resolve causes his sword to change once again, becoming even more powerful and complex.

With this new power, Shirou is able to counter Archer's attack and strike back with incredible force. The two swords clash once again, and this time, it seems like Shirou might actually be able to win.

But just as victory seems within reach, a new player enters the battle. Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, appears out of nowhere and attacks both Archer and Shirou. The two are forced to put aside their battle and team up to fight off this new enemy.

The episode ends with the three of them facing off against Gilgamesh, with Shirou and Archer still not quite trusting each other but willing to work together for the sake of survival.

Overall, "Incarnation" is an intense and action-packed episode that showcases both the physical and emotional struggles of the characters. With the stakes higher than ever before, it's impossible to predict what will happen next.
