Ep 2. Cy & Beau

Cy & Beau's story is one of finding true love where you least expect it. Cy is a 27-year-old librarian who has never been in a serious relationship, and Beau is a 25-year-old former military man who is still discovering who he is after transitioning.

They both come into the experience of Flirty Dancing with an open mind and heart, ready to be vulnerable and take a chance on finding love. Choreographer and host Jenna Dewan leads them through two separate dance routines that they will perform with two different partners.

In one routine, Cy dances with a man named Spencer, and Beau dances with a woman named Bri. They then must choose which of their two partners they want to go on a second date with, based solely on the connection they felt during the dance.

In the second routine, Cy and Beau dance with each other and have to decide if they want to continue their own romantic connection. As they dance together, they shed their inhibitions and let themselves be vulnerable in front of each other, letting their bodies and emotions guide them.

Throughout the episode, we see Cy and Beau’s individual journeys and how they approach love differently. Cy, who is a romantic at heart, is looking for someone to share his everyday life with. Beau, on the other hand, is more guarded and is still trying to figure out who he is and what he wants in a relationship.

The dances serve not only as a physical expression but also a way for both men to connect with their partners on a deeper emotional level. The tension builds as the time comes for them to make their final decisions about who to see again, hoping that they both have found the right match.

Flirty Dancing's second episode is a heartwarming journey of vulnerability, connection, and hope. Cy and Beau’s story shows that love can come from unexpected places and that sometimes all you need is a little dance to find it.
