The episode "Girl Code Red" from season 2 of Floribama Shore sees the housemates come face to face with some serious relationship drama. Gus and Nilsa find themselves in a heated argument after Nilsa ignores Gus's advice to be cautious in her new relationship. The tension between the two escalates until they both confront each other and clear the air.
In the midst of all this drama, the housemates take a break to celebrate Mardi Gras. They go all out, dressing up in extravagant costumes and hitting the town for a night of partying. The celebrations are wild and raucous, with the housemates letting loose and forgetting all their worries for a few hours.
However, the peace doesn't last for long as Gus and Nilsa's argument reignites. They have a heart-to-heart conversation, where Gus apologizes for overstepping and Nilsa opens up about her insecurities in the relationship. The two eventually come to an understanding and agree to move forward as friends.
The episode ends with the whole house coming together for a heartfelt group hug, a sign that despite all their differences and drama, they are still a family at heart. "Girl Code Red" is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, with the housemates experiencing highs and lows in both their relationships and their friendships.
