In Series 3, Episode 59, four new B&B owners invite their competitors to judge their establishments, beginning with The Roebuck Inn in North Yorkshire. Owner Mark greets his guests with glasses of fizz and shows them around his traditional pub with elegant, yet rustic rooms. The guests are impressed by the stylish decor but take issue with the lack of a shower in one of the rooms. At breakfast, the guests are pleased with the cooked-to-order options, but one criticises the presentation.

Next up is The Priory Hotel in Pevensey, East Sussex, owned by Keith. The building dates back to the 14th century and boasts 18 rooms, each uniquely decorated with antique furniture. At breakfast the next morning, the guests rave about the offering of fresh berries and croissants.

Lastly, the guests visit The Workhouse in Presteigne, Wales, owned by Dave and Helen. This unique and quirky bed and breakfast is housed in a former Victorian workhouse that has been converted into an arts centre with six guest rooms.
