Issues with cleanliness, room layout, and bed comfort bother some of the guests, while others focus on the quality of breakfast and generosity of the hosts.

Finally, the contestants visit the Royal Oak Hotel in Welshpool, Wales, which is run by manager David Humphreys. The guests are impressed with the hotel's grandeur and history. Some of them even take advantage of the hotel's in-house salon to get manicures and pedicures. However, there are some complaints about the rooms, which some find to be too small and noisy. Once again, opinions are divided, with some impressed by the grandeur of the hotel and its classic ambience, while others focus on the practicalities of their rooms.
