Ep 7. The Day After Thanksgiving

The Day After Thanksgiving is an episode from season 4 of the American sitcom Fresh Off the Boat. The show is loosely based on the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang. The show centers around the Huang family who move from Washington D.C.'s Chinatown to Orlando, Florida in order to experience the American Dream.

Along the way, they run into Louis (played by Randall Park), who has come to the mall to earn some extra cash by participating in a focus group. After a few tense moments, they all end up agreeing that they need to stand up for their shared cultural experiences.

Meanwhile, Eddie, Emery, and Evan discover that the mall is closed and locked from the outside for another 12 hours with them inside. This leads to a scavenger hunt of their own, with the brothers sneaking around trying to find the action figure that they so badly want before the mall reopens. As they strive to make their way to the toy store, the brothers run into a security guard who is determined to catch them in the act of hiding out.
