12. Episode 12

February 3, 2016

Lyuda Shuvaeva dies in the hospital. Because of this, Anna Korablina is removed from the management of the department. The relationship between Anna and Freud is ruined. Freud notices a girl who lies motionless on the ground and takes her to the hospital. The girl has sepsis - one of her breast implants has burst. Freud decides to find a doctor who performed a poor-quality operation for the girl.

The deputy prosecutor of a small town, Petr Nikoforov, disappeared. Nikoforov worked in the prosecutor's office for more than 20 years, and only had a few months until retirement. Investigators find Nikoforov's car near the river, except there is no body of the prosecutor in the car, but traces of shots on the windshield. Only Freud believes that the prosecutor staged his disappearance.

Igumnov, an adoption service worker dies in the tram after being given penicillin, to which he is allergic. A young widowed woman with three children was near him at the time of his death, calling her into question. At the same time, investigators find out that Igumnov created a whole business in the adoption of newborn children, which mothers, for various reasons, cannot or do not want to leave.

After an evening talk show, three men are shot dead while exiting. All were killed with a sniper rifle. Suspicions fall on Afghan Pavlov, whom they wanted as a guest on the show to discuss the ban on weapons. Freud does not believe in Pavlov's guilt, and even makes a bet: if Pavlov is guilty, Freud will jump off the roof from which the sniper shot. Freud believes the 3 men have a hidden story.

The commercial director of an ad agency Boris Ulyukayev was shot. Ulyukaeva's wife, Olga, reports that she knew about her husband's unfaithfulness but understood his actions and has an alibi for his death. Freud learns that Boris had an affair with his wife's niece, Zhenya. Olga is shocked by this news, but comes to the defense of her niece. A guard for the ad agency claims he is the murderer.

Late at night in the park a school teachers is beaten and raped but she does not want to file a report, as she is afraid that her husband, Sergei, will find out about the attack. When Sergey comes to the hospital, her heart stops. Freud soon finds the man who attacked her. A maniac appears in the city that kills women and leaves specific scars on them, similar to those found on the schoolteacher.

Newlyweds are murdered during their wedding night. Investigators interview Viktor Frolin, the former lover of the murdered bride, but is proven innocent by Freud. It is found that the murder is exactly the same as the murder described in a book by Marya. Freud is confident that Marya is directly related to the crime. He seduces her, but even this does not help him learn the secrets of Marya.

During his birthday celebration, Plato Epifantsev is poisoned. Epifantsev is in a hospital in critical condition, and investigators find out that many people wanted him dead. But the attention of investigators is drawn to Barbara and Elizabeth, the mistress and wife of Cyril Epifantsev, the son of Plato. Plato had promised to put them in his will. Their is a shocking twist to who killed Plato.

A mysterious avenger brutally kills people on the street and video records it, then posts the videos to the internet. Soon, investigators identify the avenger - a former athlete Danilin. Six months ago, Danilin's younger brother died at the hands of street gangs, and he decided to take revenge. Freud finds himself in danger, even after being warned, during this investigation.

Tamara is a young beautiful model that is married to a multimillionaire man twice her age. She sets out to find real love, and finds that in Robert. They have an affair and plan to run away to Moscow together, but she suddenly disappears. Robert denies any involvement in the her disappearance. The investigation brings Freud to some very bad areas of Moscow.

A bloody family drama unfolds in the Moscow high-rise building when a woman tries to kill her husband, who has found her with her lover, then shoots the lover and is thrown out of the window. Both the husband and the lover survived, and the case can be closed due to the death of the criminal. The department of Anna Korablina finds out what happened in the apartment between the woman and her men.

Police stop a car for speeding, but the woman driving somehow escapes. Inside, police find the body of a young man with traces of suffocation. The department of Anna Korablina takes on the investigation of the murder, but it is discovered that Freud has been intimately familiar with the suspect, Elena. All the evidence points to Elena, but Freud does not believe in her guilt.
