Ep 11. The One With Phoebe's Uterus

In season 4 episode 11 of Friends, titled "The One With Phoebe's Uterus," Phoebe finds out that her half-brother Frank and his wife Alice are planning to have a baby but are unable to conceive on their own. Alice asks Phoebe to be their surrogate, which she initially declines, but after some soul-searching, decides to donate her uterus to her brother and sister-in-law, giving them the chance to have the family they've always wanted.

Meanwhile, Chandler and Joey are on a mission to find a new entertainment center for their apartment. They stumble upon a beautiful one that is priced way out of their budget, but after running into Janice, Chandler's on-again, off-again girlfriend, they find out that her ex-husband is selling his entertainment center for a steal. The catch? It's incredibly ugly.

Ross and Rachel's relationship woes continue in this episode, as Ross is torn between his new girlfriend, Julie, and his true feelings for Rachel. Rachel, on the other hand, struggles with jealousy as Ross spends more time with Julie. Monica tries to meddle, but her well-meaning attempts only make things worse for everyone involved.

As the episode progresses, Phoebe goes through the surrogate process, dealing with the highs and lows of hormonal injections and medical procedures. Frank and Alice are grateful for Phoebe's generosity but struggle to figure out how to tell their family and friends about their unique situation.

Chandler and Joey ultimately decide to buy the ugly entertainment center after Janice encourages Chandler to embrace its uniqueness. They end up transforming it into a work of art and are thrilled with the end result.

In the end, Ross and Rachel come to a resolution about their feelings for each other, and Phoebe delivers the good news that she is pregnant with Frank and Alice's baby. The episode ends with the group celebrating at Central Perk, happy and grateful for each other and the unique situations that life has thrown their way.
