As the title suggests, this episode of Friends centers around an apothecary table. Phoebe finds a beautiful apothecary table at a flea market and buys it to use as a decorative piece in her apartment. However, when she discovers that the piece is actually from Pottery Barn and not a genuine antique, she becomes upset and tries to return it. This leads to a hilarious exchange with the Pottery Barn delivery man, played by Sean Penn.

Meanwhile, Joey gets a job at a department store as a perfume spritzer. Chandler and Ross make fun of him for his new job, but Joey takes pride in it and even starts using his new perfume skills to pick up women. However, things take a turn when Joey ends up accidentally spraying Phoebe's grandmother in the eyes with perfume.

Back at Monica and Chandler's apartment, Monica is excited to finally get a chance to use her wedding china. However, Chandler accidentally knocks one of the plates on the floor and breaks it. In an effort to hide the evidence, he tries to glue the plate back together but ends up creating a monstrosity with more glue than plate. Monica is understandably upset when she sees the damage, leading to yet another fight between the couple.

Overall, The One With The Apothecary Table is a classic Friends episode filled with laughs and mishaps. It's fun to see the group navigate the ups and downs of their daily lives, and the storyline around the apothecary table adds a unique twist to the usual shenanigans. The performances by the cast are spot-on, and it's clear that they're having a blast playing these characters. If you're a Friends fan, this is definitely an episode you won't want to miss!
