In Friends season 7 episode 5, The One With The Engagement Picture, Ross is feeling down about his recent divorce from Emily and wants to move on with his life. Meanwhile, Monica and Chandler decide to take some couples photos for their engagement announcement but can't seem to get a good shot. They ask Joey to take the photos but he ends up accidentally sending out a picture of Chandler and Monica together with one of his own headshots in the frame.

Rachel is struggling with the idea of having a male nanny for Emma because of her history with men. Ross tries to help her get over her fears by introducing her to his male nanny, Sandy, who she ends up hiring. However, when Sandy shows up for work, Rachel realizes she is attracted to him and tries to resist her feelings.

Phoebe is on a mission to find out what happened to her father after discovering a photo of him in her mom's closet. She enlists Joey's help to investigate and they end up going to Albany to find her father. However, when they arrive, they find out that he had died years ago and Phoebe is devastated.

As the episode progresses, the group deals with various relationship issues and the notion of moving forward with their lives. Ultimately, they come together to support each other and try to find happiness in the midst of their struggles.
