Watch Frosty the Snowman

This 1969 television special was produced by Rankin/Bass Productions and features narration by Jimmy Durante. It follows the adventures of a snowman who is brought to life when a magical hat is placed on his head. The newly living Frosty romps through the streets with the children who built him, and he forges a special relationship with one particular little girl. The special airs annually on the CBS broadcast network and on the CBC in Canada. It also traditionally aired on the ABC Family cable network.
