Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo are traveling to a hot spring resort for a much-needed vacation. Upon their arrival, they meet up with Haru, Momiji, and Hatsuharu's school friends. While the group takes part in various activities, Tohru begins to notice a strange tension between Hatsuharu and Yuki that she can't quite seem to understand.

Tohru soon learns that Hatsuharu and Yuki's relationship is complicated due to their upbringing and family dynamics. Hatsuharu feels envious of Yuki's connection to their mother, while Yuki is burdened by the weight of their mother's expectations. Despite their complicated emotions towards each other, the two take a moment to reconnect and reflect on their feelings.

As the group relaxes in the hot springs, Tohru stumbles upon a stray cat crying outside. She follows it into the woods and discovers another of the zodiac members, Rin, who is seriously injured. Rin reveals to Tohru that Akito, the head of the zodiac, is not what she seems and is the one responsible for her injuries. Rin warns Tohru to be careful around Akito and the rest of the zodiac members.

Tohru returns to the hot springs and shares what she learned with Yuki, Kyo, and Haru. They discuss the secretive nature of the zodiac members and their complicated relationships with Akito. The group decides to keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior and to reach out to the other members of the zodiac to form stronger bonds.

In the end, as the group prepares to leave the hot springs, Tohru reflects on the friendships she has made and the importance of rebuilding broken relationships. The episode ends on a hopeful note as Tohru and the zodiac members continue to navigate their complicated lives together.
