Master gardener Paul James points out the effects of wind on plants. He shows the wind damage, how to deal with it and how to protect plants from wind damage. He shows popular groups of grasses. He talks about the right ways to take care of daylilies and talks about growing some other grassy looking plants like lemon grass, garlic, chives and bamboo. As he cruises around in his garden, he stops at his garlic plant and tells how to harvest garlic and points out the importance of harvesting garlic at the right time. Later, he talks about some various plant maladies. James also points out the advantage of a pet rabbit. He shows that rabbits provide the garden with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in higher quantities than almost any other fertilizer.
