The ninth episode of Geordie Shore season 11 sees the hens and stags parties to the wedding of the two conventional members of the gang, Gary and Charlotte. The group is split for the entire day with Charlotte's group honing their burlesque skills with a sultry lesson, while Gary's gang is stuck on a fishing boat, getting wasted and feeling blue without their lady counterparts.
Charlotte's party is an all-out glam fest with the girls dressed in burlesque costumes that brings out their naughtiest sides. The contrast between Charlotte's group and Gary's group is striking with the latter feeling the pinch that they are not on the same wavelength as the ladies. While some girls feel the magic of the stripper pole, others can't quite muster the skills required. Grant seems to be irritable for some reason; and Scotty T, with his unbridled energy, manages to steers the mood of the day to something a little more fun.
During the middle of the day, Charlotte's party heads back to the hotel. While their partners are out at sea, the girls enjoy some tasty food and sip on a drink or two. This is the perfect opportunity for the girls to dish out some gossip before it's time to hit the dance floor again. Holly can't resist sharing some of the tricks she's learned to spice up her sex life. Of course, she manages to shock the group so much that everyone is trying to process the juicy tidbits they had just been told.
After a successful day, the boys and girls come together to witness the wedding ceremony of Gary and Charlotte, which takes place in an old castle that overlooks the sea. The group looks absolutely stunning in their wedding outfits, and everything appears to be perfect until one of the guests unexpectedly ruins the special moment. In a fierce and heated exchange, one of the gang members angrily accuses another of stealing her boyfriend. The atmosphere sours quickly and Gary and Charlotte are left with a headache that they do not want. But, as the sun sets and the day draws to an end, the group manages to bring everything back together and squeeze out a little bit of fun.
Episode 9 brings us a glimpse of faraway memories when friends have grown up and it’s time for something a little more mature. What used to be wild nights now involve burlesque lessons and quiet fishing trips. Although there is some drama that threatens to spoil the wedding day, the group ultimately manages to come together to celebrate love, friendship, and the shared memories they've created.
