Maya receives the perfect Christmas gift - a fabulously expensive watch -- from her new friend Stan. When Darnell discovers the pricey timepiece, Maya fibs that Joan gave it to her, further straining the already tense relationship between Joan and Darnell and ultimately threatening to end the two women's friendship. Meanwhile, William learns to enjoy playing Santa for the office party, Toni spends Christmas on a budget and Lynn finds a devoted new companion.
