Dudd on the way home finds is a "magic" crystal ball. He picks up the ball and after rubbing it appears a number: 12345. Dudd is tripping. The number that comes out in the ball turned out to be the winning number in the lottery. The rest of the Glumpers scream and give to Dudd all the money they have saved to buy the new ticket of the number that has come into the ball.
